  When Peter Douglas Christian was giving a talk in Lingfield, Surrey, in 2017 an elderly lady mentioned that she had once worked in East Grinstead with a Harold Jesse Christian from Horsham and that there was a considerable likeness. She also mentioned that he had been a soldier. Probable marriage: Q2 1936 Horsham 2b 842, to Violet E A Jennings.
