  Moved to Coffs Harbour in1906. farming with family Moved to Newry Island (Urunga) in 1917 to help Alex farm - stayed 6 years then cut timber until 1931 for the Railway Commission. Rented Bennett's farm at Fernmount from 1931 until 1940. Bought farm in Dorrigo, moved there in March 1940 with wife & 2 children both born at Bellingen Private Hosp. Masonic Lodge member since 1944 - Master in 51-2; Dist Insp 56-8 Rep Dorrigo & Bellingen in tennis - bowls in 58. Foundation member of Rotary in Dorrigo Sold farm to ?Alex Cork in 64 lived there until '69 Retired to Sawtell in '69.
